Nine Pound Catfish are a trio playing in the Exeter and South Devon area consisting of Graham Butterfield and Ian Gardner on guitars, mandolin, banjo and vocals with Jane Gardner singing and playing washboard and percussion. They are a relatively new band, having started together in September 2015.

They play a mixture of hokum, ragtime blues and old country music, mainly from the twenties and thirties.

The Ruse are a six piece, high energy, student led band based at South Dartmoor & Exeter College.

From a young age, they adopted a simple philosophy; to take their music, experiment along the way and most importantly, to have fun but it wasn't long before the band found themselves attracting the attention of the region’s music movers and shakers, moving from school stage to sold out festivals within just three, short years.
