UK based singer-songwriter Alex Dobson grew up amongst the green hills and wild moors of South West Devon. Graduating with a BA hons in creative sound & music, Alex’s love and exploration of the sonic world flowed seamlessly into his original music. With musical influences from artists such as Ben Howard, Newton Faulkner & Jack Johnson, Alex’s laid back and chilled out personality forms a relaxed atmosphere around his music. Making for some easy listening, mind ticking music with oodles of jumped up dancing tunes thrown in for good measure. Featuring on BBC Introducing Devon and performing at festivals such as Boardmasters, Exeter Food Festival & Little Orchard Festival. Alex’s style always brings the happiness and good vibes, helping transport you to your happy place.

The Great British music of 1979
From the ashes of the 70’s British music scene there arose some seriously talented musicians. GB79 are a tribute to those great British bands with songs from the late 70s to early 80s era.
GB79 are all experienced musicians who have had appearances on Radio 1 and MTV as well as supporting acts as diverse as the Average White Band, Jeff Lynne, the Sweet, the Animals and Yes.
