Tinners is the local men’s Morris Side, with its home in South Zeal, but dancers coming from all over – even as far as Throwleigh.

We dance mostly a Cotswold tradition but the emphasis is on having a good time and entertaining the audience.

Come and watch us around the showground, give us a cheer or join in.

15:15pm Neil Maya Jazz Quartet (Cartoon Jazz)

Playing the best in jazz from the cartoons, The Neil Maya Quartet injects some Yabba Dabba Doo into your favourite looney tunes – from Frozen to The Flintstones; Top Cat to Toy Story; The Simpsons to Sesame Street. It’s jazz – but not as we know it

The Neil Maya Quartet is one of the Southwest’s finest jazz outfits and has toured extensively throughout the region and beyond over the last 20 years performing its own mix of compositions as well as its highly successful Brubeck Project, its 1959: the Golden year of Jazz Project and also more recently the Jazz Funk Emporium.

16:45pm True Foxes

True Foxes, the highly acclaimed Americana duo from Cornwall and Wales, are making waves across the UK alt-country music scene. Amie, with her powerful vocals, reminiscent of Brandi Carlile and Karen Carpenter, leads with soul-stirring songwriting on rhythm guitar. Chloe complements her with ethereal harmonies and melodic bass lines, creating a mesmerising musical experience filled with sister-like harmonies, banter and humour.

Renowned as “The hardest working duo in the South West” by Daniel Pascoe of BBC Introducing and likened to the ‘British First Aid Kit’ by Bar Silo, True Foxes have etched their mark on the UK music scene. Their debut album, “Howl,” released in March 2024, has garnered widespread acclaim following over 250 performances nationwide in 2023.

Their recent UK headline tour saw multiple sold-out shows, solidifying their status as emerging stars. From esteemed venues like the Liverpool Philharmonic, Shrewsbury Folk Festival and London’s Water Rats, True Foxes have earned glowing reviews from AmericanaUK, Rocking Magpie, and Fatea.

With extensive airplay across the UK and internationally, including recognition as BBC Artist of the Week across 8 territories, Americana Album of the Month on The Country Mile Radio and UK Country Radio, True Foxes continue to captivate audiences. With a promising trajectory highlighted by sold-out tours and critical acclaim, the future looks bright for True Foxes.
